The Car Donation Process
We've streamlined vehicle donation to make it as easy as possible for Triangle residents. From your first call to receiving your tax receipt, we handle the details so you don't have to worry.

Getting started is easy. Simply call us at 919-555-0100 or fill out our online donation form. We'll ask for some basic information about your vehicle:
- Year, make, and model
- Mileage
- General condition (running or not)
- Your location in the Triangle
- Your contact information
That's it! No need to clean the car, make repairs, or gather extensive documentation. We accept vehicles in any condition.
Schedule Free Pickup
Once we have your information, we'll arrange towing at a time that works for you. Our free towing service covers the entire Triangle area — from Raleigh to Durham, Chapel Hill to Wake Forest.
What to expect on pickup day:
- Our professional driver will call you when they're on the way
- You'll need to provide the vehicle title and keys
- We handle all the paperwork
- You'll receive a temporary receipt
- The whole process typically takes 15-30 minutes
We can often provide same-day or next-day pickup, depending on your location and schedule.
Get Your Tax Deduction
After we pick up your vehicle, we handle everything from there:
- We transport your vehicle to auction or a salvage yard
- We maximize the sale price to benefit the charities we support
- We send you official tax documentation (IRS Form 1098-C)
How much can you deduct?
- If your vehicle sells for more than $500, you can deduct the full sale price
- If it sells for $500 or less, you can deduct the fair market value up to $500
- We provide all necessary documentation for your tax return
Tax documentation typically arrives within 30 days of your donation.

To donate your car, you'll need:
- Vehicle Title — Signed over to us or the charity
- Valid ID — Driver's license or other government-issued ID
- Keys — All sets you have available
